Have you ever thought about writing a book?

Why not? A book can be a fantastic way to get your content out there and gain some exposure for you and your brand at the same time. While it sounds easy to just write a book, a lot of people tend to stop halfway through because they get overwhelmed with the process. However, today our guest speaker - a bestselling author himself, will explain what it really means to have a bestseller and how starting with small goals, rather than a completed book will help you achieve your dream.

If you're curious to see how he made it as a bestselling author, read on! Originally from Chicago, Jeff Goins graduated from Illinois College and spent the next year traveling North America playing music with a rock band. He then moved to Nashville to chase the love of his life and started the first marketing team at Adventures in Missions, an international development and relief organization. There, he rediscovered his love for writing and in 2012 decided to venture out on his own as an author, speaker, and entrepreneur. Today, he writes and speaks while running an online education business that helps writers and creative entrepreneurs chase their dreams.

Jeff’s award-winning blog, GoinsWriter.com, is visited by millions of people from all over the world every year. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, USA Today, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Psychology Today, Business Insider, The Huffington Post, Time, and hundreds of other publications.
